Description

An excellent savoury gravy for all meats in the style of bistros and hotel restaurants.

Ingredients

Wheat Flour, Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein Extract (Soybean, Maize), Colour (Caramel III), Natural Flavour.

INGREDIENT/S CONTAIN WHEAT AND SOY PRODUCTS.  MANUFACTURED ON EQUIPMENT THAT ALSO PROCESSES PRODUCTS CONTAINING BARLEY, RYE, MILK, EGG AND SESAME SEED PRODUCTS.

Preparation Instructions

SERVES 4 With each preparation method Pan Juice Combine 3 tbsp pan juices with 1 1/2 tbsp Gravox Gravy Mix. Mix well to make a smooth paste. Cook for 30 seconds on low heat, stirring continuously. Gradually add 3/4 cup (185mL) water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. STOVE TOP Blend 1 1/2 tbsp Gravox Gravy Mix with 1 cup (250 mL) water. Bring to boil, stirring continuously. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. MICROWAVE In a microwave safe jug, blend 1 1/2 tbsp Gravox Gravy Mix with 3 tbsp water to make a smooth paste. Place 3/4 cup (185 mL) water in another jug and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute 50 seconds (1100W)+. Whisk water into paste. Heat for a further 45 seconds. Whisk well and stand for 2 minutes before serving. +Guide only. Microwave ovens may vary, adjust heating time as needed. HIGH = 100% power.
